Reflection on Creating a Google Forms Quiz
Creating a Google Forms quiz for the first time for this class was both challenging and rewarding. At first, I was unfamiliar with many of the features, so learning how to add different question types, assign points, and organize the quiz took some time. However, as I explored the platform, and of course rewatched the video 4 times I realized how useful and efficient Google Forms can be for both teachers and students.
One thing I enjoyed most was being able to create a quiz that was interactive and easy for students to complete online. I also liked learning how to provide immediate feedback and automatically collect responses, which can save teachers time when grading. If teachers spend less time grading they can spend more time teaching I find that to be a pretty good deal. It was also cool how customizable it was, I never knew because every google forms quiz I have ever taken has been the generic purple color.
This experience also showed me the importance of integrating technology into the classroom in meaningful ways. Using Google Forms can make assessments more engaging, organized, and accessible for students. Overall, creating the quiz helped me build confidence with educational technology tools and gave me ideas for how I can use digital assessments in my future classroom.
